Valves
The David Brown Hydraulics range of valves includes some of which are for specific applications while others can be used for a wide variety of applications. A range of control options is available, from manual, to pilot hydraulic, to pneumatic control, to electro hydraulic control.
Depending on model, features include: Sectional or monobloc construction, flow rating to 450 litres/min, multiple spool options, manual / hydraulic / electro-hydraulic / pneumatic control options, tandem circuit, multiple inlets.
  This product is rated at 150 litre/min and can sensibly be used down to 80 litre/min. 033 sectional valves are versatile, being sectional in construction and can be built in assemblies ranging from one to ten sections, with a wide variety of spool options and controls ranging from manual to pilot hydraulic to electro-hydraulic.
  This valve is available as a two or three section monobloc assembly, rated to 150 litre/min, with both double acting and float spools with manual control. 034 monobloc valves were originally loader valves but can be used in other applications.

  General purpose valves available with a parallel circuit (4109) or with a tandem circuit (4009). The 4009 is available in 1 to 3 spool assemblies while the 4009 is available in 1 to 5 spool assemblies, both valves offering double acting and single acting spools and manual and pilot hydraulic controls.

  Rated at 420 litre/min and available as a three spool assembly with tandem circuit with double acting and float spools. 059 monobloc valves are used on wheeled loaders.
  This is a simple diverter valve, rated at 200 litre/min, which diverts an input supply to either one of two outlets. SSV09 selector valves may be manually or pilot hydraulically operated.
  This is a line mounted unloader valve, rated at 135 litre/min, which will unload the flow from one pump to tank determined by the pressure from a second pump.
  Rated at 270 litre/min and available in 1, 2 & 3 spool assemblies and tandem circuit with double acting and float spools. Two and three spool valves used on wheeled loaders, single spool valves used for general purposes.

  PILOT OPERATED FLOAT CHECK BLOCK (POFC) The POFC was designed to respond to wheeled loader manufacturer's need to provide machines with good control of bucket and boom with minimum cycle times and without cavitation. The boom is operated by a double acting spool instead of the usual 4-position float spool. The POFC block is bolted to the top face of the valve and large diameter check valves facilitate the flow to and from the boom cylinders. Both bucket and boom service port sizes are increased so that very large flow areas are available. Pump flow up to 450 l/min (120 USgpm) and return flow up to 1000 l/min (260 USgpm) can be accommodated
